Trips & Events
Trips and the ‘outdoor’ classroom play a crucial role in the children’s lives both educationally and socially. The boarders have adventures every week which enhance their lives at school, help them make new friends and give them a breath of experience.
Every teacher in the school looks for ways to make learning come alive by relating to the real world’. Whether it be examining erosion in the New Forest, farm life, dressing up as WWII evacuees or cooking at Waitrose the children think they’re just having fun but we know they are learning through experience. Watch out for the picture stories of our outdoor classroom.
