world. Our open week is the perfect opportunity to see how we could be the perfect fit for your child.

Book a bespoke tour by emailing our Registrar at admissions@fsmschool.com or by calling 01425 653181.

Can’t Make our Open Week? Book a Personal Tour

If you can’t make our open week, we can arrange a visit at your convenience. During this time, you’ll have a personal tour of the school by the Headmaster, meet pupils in your child’s year and see all of the facilities. Fill out the form below.

Experiencing a Taster Day

If you’ve decided that you’d like your child to come to Forres Sandle Manor, we always recommend a Taster Day.

Our Taster Day (and night if your child will be boarding with us) gives your child a chance to experience a full working day as a member of FSM. We are non-selective and there is no entrance test but during the Taster Day, teaching staff will conduct some simple exercises for your children to complete, ensuring that they will be able to cope with our academic curriculum. They will also meet their future classmates and begin to make friends before they officially start here.

Our Admissions Process

Should you decide that FSM is right for your child, we will guide you through the Admissions process. This may involve a taster day/evening.

FSM does not have entrance exams for pupils. Should your child require additional learning support, we may request a meeting to ensure that we have everything required in place before they start.

Any questions, please feel free to contact our Registrar directly here.

What Our Parents Say About Us

Here are a few testimonials to let you know what some of our current parents think about our School:

“A fantastic school where children run freely and are inspired to learn by their own efforts, wonderful teaching and beautiful surroundings. If you walk around you see the children are genuinely happy and having fun – whilst learning!”

“Forres Sandle Manor is a wonderful school. It provides a really nurturing environment and is brilliant at bringing the best out in each individual child. The facilities are excellent and as well as academics there is plenty of time in the school day for the non-academic subjects to be enjoyed and developed too. I feel that FSM provides an idyllic childhood setting and would definitely recommend coming to see it for yourself.”

“Wonderful school both academically and pastorally. Constantly looking forward and improving. Fantastic facilities and setting. Important to come and see the school in action and see how happy and successful the children are.”

“FSM makes boarding life for overseas families very easy! Our daughter is in her second year at FSM and absolutely loves it – she is always so keen to go back to school!”

“I have three children who have been lucky enough to attend FSM both in pre-prep and main school, two of whom are now at secondary school and thriving. FSM has given them a magical slice of childhood which I don’t believe they would have got elsewhere. The caring nature of the school’s ethos really shines through.”

“It is a great school. Very welcoming and homely with a lovely family atmosphere. My two grandchildren are borders and settled in straight away , which speaks volumes for the head and his team. They are not only taught well but are instilled with social skills, manners and confidence. A great Preparatory School.”

“We are now in our third year at FSM and I can’t fault it. Staff are first class and the well being of each individual child is at the heart of everything. I have never worried about leaving our boys in their capable hands and the fact that they are itching to return after holidays is testament to the fun that is injected into every aspect of learning and boarding life. I just wish I was 8 again!”
