On the 16th November 2019 Forre Sandle Manor School held its second annual Christmas Market. With over 50 stall holders, the event had already grown since last year. The event was a fantastic success with over 400 visitors coming for their early Christmas purchases over the five hours. Visitors travelled from all over Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire and further afield too to snap up a wide range of items from soy candles and local paintings, to handmade fudge and sock animals!

The food stands were also a success, and many gathered at midday with their mulled wine and mince pies to listen to the School Choir, who were followed by a range of local musicians. You couldn’t help but leave in a festive mood!

Event organiser and FSM Nursery Teacher, Mrs Bev Kendall, said: “We’re thrilled that so many people came to join us and get behind local stallholders with handmade and local products. It was fantastic to see many familiar faces as well as welcome many new ones.”

FSM Headmaster, Mr Jody Wells, said: “It was fantastic to host such a community event  and seeing the School come alive with so many people all in the festive spirit was fantastic. The stallholders provided an array of wonderful products, the hardest part was finding somewhere to hide all the presents I bought… as well as not eating all the fudge!”

And yes, we’re already looking forward to 2020! We hope to see you there!
