It has been an eclectic week of exploring for our Year 2s. They have completed their excellent Ancient Greek Myths project based on the 12 tasks of Heracles!
Ancient Greeks come to the New Forest!
They gave themselves ancient Greek names and fought the evil Hoskingeus by completing six deadly tasks, using similes and a range of adjectives to add depth to their writing. They then created an excellent front cover for photocopies of their completed stories to take home and share their hard work with their parents.
Games and Tag Rugby
In Games Year 2 have been preparing for tag rugby by playing Mario Kart Balloon Battle! They have learned how to put their tag belts on and then attempt to remove each other’s belts in a safe and effective way.
