This comment was made by one of Year 7 boarders at the end of last weekend and as you can see from the photographs, the children certainly had a wonderful time.
On Saturday evening, Miss Gorry and the Gappies dressed the table for dinner with flowers and fairy lights to make it extra special. A movie night in Miss Gorry’s flat was the perfect end to a busy week in school and Miss Brownie’s legendary knickerbocker glories went down a storm!
On Sunday morning the boarders walked down into Fordingbridge where they enjoyed hot chocolate and cake at ‘Bridges’ before a windy adventure at the park. Simple pleasures but children being children, there can be no greater thing. In the afternoon it was all aboard the minibuses to Bournemouth for lots of fun at Laser Quest as the weekend drew to a close.
