Earlier this week, our Pre Prep had a wonderful time picking pumpkins.
The children came up with some wonderful carving ideas ahead of Halloween too!
On their return, Year 2 conducted an investigation. They described their pumpkin, measured it and predicted how many seeds would be inside (they’ll let us know after half term).
Finally, they predicted whether their pumpkin would sink or float. Most were quite surprised to discover that pumpkins float.
