A standing ovation for our phenomenal Year 6 – 8 stars!
The Bugsy Malone performances were an absolute triumph, enchanting parents with a Friday evening spectacle and a Saturday afternoon encore.
Hats off to the incredible cast whose unwavering dedication and hard work truly shone through, bringing their characters to life in a dazzling display of talent and passion. The live band added a magical touch, creating an unforgettable musical backdrop that will echo in the hearts of each performer forever.

More years ago than I care to remember, I graced the stage of the King’s School’s production of ‘Bugsy Malone’, I will leave it to the audience’s imagination as to which character I was cast as!
When I first arrived at Forres Sandle Manor over 10 years ago, I was saddened to hear that the show had recently been performed. The first time I attempted to stage the show here at our wonderful school, we ended up doing an online performance. I am genuinely delighted that you can all be here in person today.

It has been an absolute privilege to work with our wonderful band in these past few days, and with all our talented pupils since rehearsals began in September. Having a live band in a production really ‘lifts’ the show and provides an amazing experience for all the pupils, something that will stay with them for a lifetime. The music for this show is incredibly varied, with slow lilting ballads to fast moving ragtime, coupled with the brilliant choreography from Leila Steven’s (and occasionally by myself!) has really pushed our pupils, but they have risen to the challenge to put on a brilliant show.
