Recently our Nursery had a super time at the beach. It has been a great opportunity to experience the beach in different weather and the transition from winter to spring.
Nursery Fun at the Beach
The children have been busy writing their names in the sand, skimming stones, digging holes, filling buckets with sand and also finding lots of beach treasures.
The children looked at different patterns on the shells and seaweed that they found and they had a great time finding mussel shells, razor clams and even a shell from a crab.
To finish off they enjoyed a picnic and then headed back to school…. What a lovely educational day at the beach. Thank you everyone!
