A Day of Adventure at Blashford Lakes for Years 3 and 4!
Our energetic Year 3s and 4s had an unforgettable day at Blashford Lakes, filled with fun and learning in nature. From pond dipping to kick sampling, the children were buzzing with excitement as they discovered fascinating creatures like diving beetles, newts, and efts. Armed with wellies, they explored the riverbed and caught some amazing surprises!
In the afternoon, the adventure continued as they examined rock and soil samples, created their own soil mixtures, and went birdwatching. The highlight of the day? Spotting a stunning Great Spotted Woodpecker!
