Step 1: Get in Touch
Start by contacting our Admissions Team with basic information about your child and your area of interest. We will provide detailed guidance and answer any questions you may have.
Step 2: Visit FSM
We encourage all families to visit the School. Whether you attend an Open Morning, or a private tour, visiting FSM is the best way to experience our community, meet staff, and see our facilities first-hand. Visit Us
Step 3: Register Your Child
After your visit, you can register your child by completing the online registration form and paying the registration fee. This begins the formal admissions process.
Step 4: Assessment & Taster Opportunities
Children joining in Reception, Prep, or Senior School are invited to age-appropriate assessment and taster experiences. These give your child a chance to engage with school life and allow us to understand how best we can support their learning. Our assessments do not need to be prepared for and are designed only to determine the current academic level. At this stage we will contact your child’s current school for a reference.
Step 5: Offer & Acceptance
Following assessment, we will be in touch to confirm whether we can offer a place. Once offered and a form of acceptance is signed, and payment of a deposit received, your child’s place will be secured.

We recommend contacting Admissions 6–12 months in advance of your preferred start date, especially for popular entry points such as Reception and Year 7. Doing so gives you time to attend events, complete registration, and plan logistics with confidence.
