Over the summer, the Reception class area underwent a transformation. Firstly, the floor was completely dug out to lay modern foundations. This gave us the opportunity to redesign the space and make sure it gives the best learning environment for our pupils.
The new space enabled us to optimise the learning footprint as well as rethink how we can create the best learning spaces. Staff have worked hard to create a space filled with natural light to embrace the wonderful setting of the School.
The open plan setting also benefits from ‘pod’ areas which enable focus on specific tasks or development areas. For example: the laptop hub, the reading hideaway, role play area and the group learning table.
