‘Awesome!’, ‘Incredible!’, ‘Inspiring!’…just three of the comments from pupils who attended the Music Staff Concert on Wednesday evening! These comments and the many more than I have received from pupils and parents who attended ‘An Evening with the FSM Music Staff’ continue to bring a smile to my face. I couldn’t have been prouder of my colleagues for their performances on Wednesday evening and am eternally grateful to them for giving of their time so willingly which resulted in such a magical evening. It was an absolute pleasure from start to finish to hear everyone perform, with such an impressive range of repertoire that held the audience captivated for an hour and half. Solos, ensembles and the grand finale all highlighted the amazing talent of the FSM Music Staff and I hope that the concert will not only inspire those who already have individual music lessons but will also encourage others who have yet to embark on their own musical journeys. Making music, especially with your friends, is such a gift and the opportunities for music making at FSM are rich and abundant.
