As part of our enrichment programme, our lucky photographers were invited to spend a morning at Milton Abbey School by their Head of Art, Sara Burton.  Apart from the spectacular grounds, the school hosts a rarity; a darkroom!  As we are such a big group, we divided in half with one group creating photograms using everyday objects in the darkroom and the other half using lights and objet d’art to create still life portraits. For some it was their first foray into the creative use of aperture and creative they were!  It was a splendid day out with some beautiful work produced in an inspiring and motivating environment. We are very grateful to Milton Abbey,  Mrs Burton and her able assistant for giving the children such a wonderful experience.
