Year 6 headed to Old Sarum for a joint Humanities trip on Monday 11th November. The trip explored how subjects can be entwined to get the ‘full picture’.

The Geography element focused on the factors that led to Old Sarum being chosen as a site for the settlement. The historical part looked at the inner workings of the Castle and the hierarchy involved in who was allowed where. The Religious Studies side involved finding out about the two cathedrals that were originally on the site. The children went on to use large lego blocks to recreate the layout.

A chilly but fun day was had by all!
