Our Reception class had a wonderful time recently at Nunton Dairy. The children saw the incredible milk dispensing machine in the village, and they were given a chance to have a go!
They were then taken on a tour of the farm, shown the different types of cows and how the farmer preps food for the cows during winter (silage).
They also learnt how hand hygiene was hugely important in a livestock environment. Everyone had a wonderful time and we want to thank Mr Martin, the owner of Nunton Dairy, for such a fabulous tour.
