Today at FSM we celebrated World Book Day.
On World Book Day, older children were given the opportunity to share their love of reading with younger members of the school. Pupils from Years 4, 5 and 7 visited their peers in the Nursery, Reception class and Year 2 where favourite stories were read and discussed. The activity was a huge success and loved by all. Here are some of the photographs.
It is the 25 year that the iconic day has been celebrated and its mission is to help change children’s lives by making reading together and reading for pleasure a habit for life.
