As we embark on our Senior School educational journey this September, we took a moment to celebrate an important milestone with our Year 9 move-up day before the end of term. This special day was packed with adventure, team-building, and a lot of fun, all set against the scenic backdrop of Buddens Activity Centre, in partnership with Rockley Water Sports.

Year 9 Move Up Monday

The excitement was palpable as our soon-to-be Year 9 students arrived at the activity centre, ready to embrace the challenges and joys of the day. The agenda was brimming with thrilling activities designed to foster camaraderie and confidence among our students. They took to the water with enthusiasm, learning the basics of canoeing and working together to navigate the lake. The exhilaration continued on land with a zip-wire experience that had everyone cheering each other on as they soared through the air.

But the fun didn’t stop there. The day was filled with various other activities, each one aimed at helping our students build strong bonds and create lasting memories. From team-building exercises that encouraged cooperation and communication to moments of pure joy and laughter, it was a day that truly encapsulated the spirit of Forres Sandle Manor.

Seeing our students form new friendships and support one another was heartwarming and a clear indicator of the incredible year ahead. As they look forward to their time in Year 9, this move-up day has set the stage for a fabulous journey filled with learning, growth, and countless memorable experiences.
