Earlier in the month, the boarders enjoyed a wild afternoon at Liberty’s Owl, Raptor and Reptile Centre near Ringwood. There was much excitement as the children explored the many animals, learning more about them from their experienced staff and getting up close and personal with many. Mrs Rowntree did not join this trip as she isn’t a big fan of birds and by all accounts, this was a very good thing as the boarders watched a flying display with the birds swooping just over the tops of the children’s heads. Crikey!

The children had a superb afternoon and were in raptures (not raptors!) when they returned to the boarding house in time for their Sunday roast.
