David’s career began in radio, where he worked as a presenter at stations across the South of England before transitioning to a role as content producer. Working on scripts and brand storytelling in both audio and visual paradigms, David’s work focused on creating content for major brands, from HSBC to IKEA, Superdrug and JD Sports.

Having completed a BA Hons Degree in the early 2000s and a Master’s Degree in 2005, David was awarded a PhD in Contemporary Theology in 2015 from the University of Winchester. David subsequently taught undergraduates there in 2017.

Outside of work, David enjoys photography, reading, writing and researching, with his current interest being the work of the Victorian Architect Ernest George and his seminal building, The Rousdon Mansion.

He is also working on a compendium of his late father’s life-work of photography from the 1950s to the 1980s in Dorset.
